The Tailored Transition Kitchen

This Costa Mesa kitchen remodel was designed to create a brighter, more open gathering space while introducing details that make the renovation feel truly custom. Soft neutral cabinetry, expansive quartz surfaces, warm brass accents, glass-front storage, and a statement range hood give the kitchen an elegant, tailored character. One of the most distinctive details is underfoot: rather than ending the kitchen tile in a conventional straight line, the adjoining wood flooring was individually cut to follow the geometric edges of the tile, creating an intricate transition between the two materials. The result turns a functional flooring change into an intentional design feature and gives this refined kitchen an unexpected layer of craftsmanship.
