This Huntington Beach remodel and interior design project brought new personality to the living room and primary bedroom while giving each space its own distinct character. In the bedroom, the client wanted something bright, cheerful, and unmistakably local, so the design was built around her collection of classic Huntington Beach and Southern California travel posters. Saturated blues, sunny yellow, warm orange, playful pattern, and crisp white millwork create a nostalgic coastal energy without feeling themed. The living room takes a quieter approach, layering warm wood, leather, soft blues and greens, natural stone, and custom built-ins to create a comfortable everyday retreat. Together, the spaces feel relaxed, personal, and collected—a home shaped around both the client and the place she loves.
